The Social Dice Game That Brings Everyone Together

🧩 Overview
Bunco isn’t just a dice game — it’s a party tradition.
Fast-paced, social, and full of laughter, it’s the perfect activity for large gatherings, family nights, or friendly clubs.
Played in groups of twelve or more, Bunco combines simple dice rolling with light competition and plenty of conversation. It’s a chance to connect, celebrate, and maybe win a small prize or two!
👥 Number of Players
- Works best with 12 players, divided into 3 tables of 4.
- Can be played with 8 to 20 players by adjusting the tables.
- Each table has 2 teams of 2 players sitting opposite each other.
🎯 Goal of the Game
To score as many points as possible by rolling the number that matches the current round — from 1 through 6.
Each round, players take turns rolling three dice and shouting “Bunco!” when all three dice match the target number.
The player or team with the most wins after six rounds is the overall winner.
🧮 Gameplay & Structure
🔹 Setup
- 3 tables labeled High, Middle, and Low.
- Each player starts at a table and moves up or down between rounds based on wins and losses.
🔹 How to Play
- In Round 1, players try to roll 1s; in Round 2, they try to roll 2s, and so on.
- Each player rolls three dice:
- 1 point for each die that matches the round number.
- 5 points for rolling three of the round number (a “Bunco”).
- 2 points for any other triple (e.g., three 5s during Round 2).
- The player keeps rolling until they score zero points in a turn, then passes the dice.
- The round ends when a team at the head table reaches 21 points.
Players record scores, move tables, and change partners after each round, keeping the energy (and laughter) flowing.
🧾 Scoring Summary
| Roll Result | Points Awarded |
|---|---|
| Each die matching the round number | +1 |
| Three of the round number (Bunco!) | +5 |

At the end of six rounds, players count wins, losses, and total Buncos.
Most wins = Champion.
